Children must have their own travel documents. Additional border formalities may apply for unaccompanied (separated) parents with child(ren). After booking, you are responsible for having the correct travel documents, required additional information and to check that everything is still up to date even when the trip departs.

To enter Dubai, a valid Dutch or Belgian passport (the red booklet), that must still be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Dubai, is required.

To enter Egypt, you need a valid Dutch or Belgian passport (the red booklet) that must still be valid for 6 months upon arrival in Egypt. With the Belgian identity card (still valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Egypt) you can also travel to Egypt. The Dutch identity card is not a valid travel document.

To travel to Hurghada, you will need a visa, which you can purchase on arrival in Egypt. For travel to Sharm el Sheikh, a visa is only required for stays longer than 14 nights. The visa can be obtained at the Corendon counter in the arrival hall on the spot for €30 p.p. This amount must be paid in cash in euros and includes the service fee. If you purchase a visa at the Corendon desk locally, when staying in Hurghada you will receive a discount voucher of €5 to book an excursion with the tour guide during the welcome meeting. If you choose to arrange the visa yourself locally, this is also possible. Belgian passport holders should also bring two additional passport photos.
To enter Egypt, you are required to complete a Customs Declaration Form prior to travelling. You must be able to show this completed form in print on arrival in Egypt. You can download the form here (English only). The form talks about a reverse side, which is the information on the right side of the form.

If you have Dutch or Belgian nationality, no visa is required for travel to The Gambia. On the plane you will be given an arrival card which you will hand over to customs upon arrival in The Gambia, fully filled in.
In principle, no vaccinations are required for The Gambia, but you are strongly advised to be vaccinated against Yellow Fever, DTP and Hepatitis A. Moreover, malaria occurs in The Gambia so it is wise to take anti-malaria pills with you.

Abolition of visa requirement Turkey since 2 March 2020
The Turkish government has abolished visa requirements for travellers with Dutch and Belgian nationality since 2 March 2020. This means you can travel to Turkey visa-free if you stay for less than 90 days. So you no longer need to purchase a visa for this. When staying longer than 90 days, a visa is still required.
No vaccinations are compulsory for Turkey. However, vaccinations against Hepatitis A and DTP are recommended by the GGD.
